It seems the comments made yesterday by the Yankees' Senior VP Hank Steinbrenner, didn't fall on deaf ears. “Because as much as I want Santana, and you can make that clear — for his sake, to know that I do want him — but the fact is that I’m not going to play the game,'’ Steinbrenner said.
The Minnesota Twins were not happy and made that very clear in an article from La Velle Neal of the Star Tribune. When asked if he thought the comments constituted tampering, the Twins' official replied, “We’re not happy. We’ll deal with this internally.'’
