According to a spokesman for Nats' GM Jim Bowden, there's no agreement on a new extension for Pena but he did confirm that the two sides have had conversations.
Bottom line, it's just a matter of time before a deal gets done, I think we'll see it finalized in the next few days.

ESPN's Enrique Rojas reports that the Nationals have signed outfielder Willy Mo Pena to a 2-year $7M extension.
