According to Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times, the Los Angeles Dodgers sent a 3-man delegation, including Dodger closer Takashi Saito, to meet with Japanese right-hander Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda having just made the announcement that he will leave his Japanese team, the Hiroshima Carp, and make the jump to the Big Leagues, though the Carp told Kuroda that they will leave his #15 jersey open for him if he decides to return.
