After the Tigers made the blockbuster trade for Marlins' 3rd baseman Miguel Cabrera, it relegated Brandon Inge to the backup role, a role Inge says he doesn't want to play.
Tigers president and general manager Dave Dombrowski has started having conversations with other teams about the 30-year old Inge, Dombrowski also said they owe him that much. "For as much as he's done for us, and as hard as he's played, it makes a lot of sense for us to do that."
