Ken Rosenthal's latest

Some interesting tidbits from Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports....

Cardinals - If the Cardinals end up trading Scott Rolen to Milwaukee, which is currently being rumored, they could turn to former Giants 3rd baseman Pedro Feliz to fill that open spot.

Twins - Apparently, the Twins are considering filing tampering charges against the New York Yankees because of comments made by Yankees' Senior VP Hank Steinbrenner regarding Twins' pitcher Johan Santana. Also, the Twins are having trade discussions about closer Joe Nathan, the Astros are said to be one of the interested teams.

Mariners - The Mariners come into the Winter Meetings and will try to unload 1st baseman Richie Sexson, who is owed $14M for next season. If they are able to trade him, they could possibly move Ben Broussard or Raul Ibanez to 1st base and acquire another outfielder via trade or free agency.

Rockies - The Rockies are said to be interested in Astros' 2nd baseman Chris Burke, especially after the Astros signed free agent Kaz Matsui. The Rockies fear, though, that the Astros' won't want to deal with them after getting burned in the Jason Jennings' trade. If that's the case, the Rocks could turn to internal candidates Jayson Nix, Ian Stewart or Jeff Baker.
