Padres make preliminary offer to Fukudome
According to Corey Brock of MLB.com, the Padres made a preliminary offer to Japanese outfielder Kosuke Fukudome. The deal is rumored to be in the 3-year $24M range, though they could be flexible on money as the days go on.
