The return of Juan-Gone.

Juan Gonzalez signs minor league deal with the St. Louis Cardinals. The two time American league MVP will earn a base salary of less than 1 million dollars should he earn a job on the big club.
According to Joe Strauss of STLtoday.com, All-Star Albert Pujols, Catcher Yadier Molina and others recommended that Gonzalez be given a look.
The 1996 and 1998 AL MVP has been out of the Majors since 2005 when he took 1 at-bat with the Cleveland Indians. Recently he had played with the Long Island Ducks of the Independent Atlantic League in 2006.
Links to steroids have also followed Gonzalez. Jose Canseco stated in his book, "Juiced" that he introduced Gonzalez to steroids when they were both teammates with the Texas Rangers. The recently released Mitchell report also mentioned a bag linked to Gonzalez contained steroids.
